artto Posted January 10, 2010 Share Posted January 10, 2010 Does any one know how the internal ground wiring is connected on the Thorens TD125? I have found several web sites with the manuals but none of the pictures are clear enough. This TT has the original Thorens TP16 tonearm. From what I can tell, it appears that the ground wire that goes to the preamp is attached internally in the turntable to a terminal strip to which the tonearm L+R+Lg+Rg wires are soldered, and the grounds are connected through/across the terminal strip to to the ground wire that goes to the preamp ground.
