Tim Taylor
Is the RS-42 triangular in shape and have the keyholes and threaded inserts on back? I can't tell from the picture. Also, does the RB-51 have the keyholes and threaded inserts on the back (for some type of wall mounting) or on the bottom? I had prepared mounting blocks in the four corners of my living room, near the ceiling, when I renovated and am looking at all my options for speaker mounting. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, T.T.

Moderators Youthman Posted February 8, 2010 Moderators Share Posted February 8, 2010 According to this thread, they are RB-51's. Is the Klipsch website incorrect?
darylomer12
Definately RB-51's because of the rear ports. Looks like the threaded inserts are on each side of the labels...Weird...
darylomer12
Hmmm....if these are RB-51's, where are the threaded inserts? Those are his RB-51's ( rear surrounds). He has RB-81's up front. Looks like he's got the same stands for both pair. Wonder how he keeps the RB-51's sturdy on that top plate? The RB-81's have threaded inserts on the bottoms, but not the 51's. I was looking in the keyhole since that's where the threaded inserts are on my RS-35's.
