winchester21 Posted February 11, 2010 Share Posted February 11, 2010 Picked a B&K 4420 on E bay today to replace my dead HK 870. That will give me 2 BK 4420s running the rears/surrounds and a big 250WPC Carver ruinning the front K horns and the LS center. One thing was crystal clear through this transition- the Sony HT reciever does a decent job of a preamp procesor but the amp section sucks. Using the amp section to drive the cornwall surrounds with out boards on the other 5 channels just did not cut it. I cant wait to ge tthis bad boy hooked uo. Bring on the power!!!!!!!!!!
