Gothamm
I leave my promedia 2.1 on at all times, since it is such a hassle to turn it off due to the switch being located in such an inconvenient place. I notice that My amp is hot to touch ALL the time, even when idle. Does this mean that it is drawing constant power? does the amp have some sort of power saving mode? Mister_Clean
Yes, it is always drawing power when switched on, there is no power saver mode. another easy way would be to just buy a surge protector and hook the system up through that and then just switch off the surge protector when you want to shut it down. Or you can install a secondary switch to the front or side of sub if you wish, I will probably do that myself.

astrallite
At least it's Class B. If it was Class A it would draw maximum power whether it was playing or not, like a rotary engine.
