Rivernuggets
Curious now. May I ask how they were modded? To achieve what?
CECAA850
The stock fans were too loud for my liking. I replaced them with quieter ones. They're now inaudible. SWL was doing the same thing to his Behringers. Carl
Rivernuggets
Those QSC's are powering your 7's all around and your 35's? Using Pro amps has facinated me lately. I know source material can mess up this question, but are those quiet? Any hiss with no music playing?

I know source material can mess up this question, but are those quiet? Any hiss with no music playing? They power all 7 speakers in my HT. I had 4 Crown XLS-402D's before the QSC's. The noise floor is very low on these amps, and I have absolutely zero desire to upgrade or change them. If you pick up an amp that has a slight hiss at no volume, you can normally correct it by turning your source signal up and amp gain down.
