fs1
Since I am more or less spending $500 on a speaker set, might as well ask if there are BETTER alternatives (read: a basic budget true HT speakers with DD/DTS receiver or an analog powered set that can be connected to a PC) to the Promedia 5.1 for around $500.....are there? Hipnotic_Tranz
Save up about another $500 and there are I have the Klipsch Quintet sats, the KSC-C1 center, a Pioneer reciever, and an SVS 25-31 sub and spent about $850-900. It's true HT and sounds 100x better than my friends Promedias (the 4.1s mind you) but I'm sure they would beat the heck out of the 5.1's as well. My suggestion? Save up a bit more and get something you are positive you'll be happy with
Audio Flynn
Or a System 6 Based upon the Klipsch SB 1 as I remember. Still more than $ 500 but more potential than Promedia.
