sonnyboy
I have a long way to go before understanding how to best use what I have recently aquired, as anyone who has read my couple of posts can tell. It seems that alot of folks, though happy with the Denon 3802, and perhaps other receivers as well, opt to get a universal remote to make things easier, and to consolidate control. The brand name that comes to mind is Pronto. Is this the consensis pick among all you smart guys? I have the 3802, klf-c7, two Heresey's, and a dvd. I also have a C-Band Sat. (yeah, I live in a trailer) I can't imagine controling that with anything but it's remote. Anyhow, I would like to hear opinions on the Pronto, or any other remote choices. Thanks. Imageman
I LOVE LOVE LOVE my pronto. Had the Harmon Kardon- it was worthless. go to www.remotecentral.com for everything on all the remotes.... but the owner of the site has a Pronto. ------------------ "Imaging is Everything"
toddvj
I've gone through quite a few Universal Remotes, and have always been disappointed. Until I got the Pronto. I LOVE the Pronto, and would recommend it to anyone, especially if you can hook it up to your computer and get the most out of it. I had a hard time at first, but just kind of learned on my own. Warning: You will not get much sleep once you start to program the thing!! ------------------ My Home Theater
dougdrake
Another Pronto fan here. Also, they have a somewhat slimmed down (feature-wise) version at (dare I say it) Best Buy that is less than $200 if the full-blown one is too much!
