lqqkn2
Hello My current setup is RF-62 Mains, RF-35 Center Channel, and need to purchase new Rear Surrounds - I just upgraded to an Onkyo RC-180 Receiver and don't know what rear surrounds to buy. I have been looking at RS-10 or the Synergy B-3 (bookshelf) - I don't know how any of these will match up with my current setup. Any help would be greatful. Thanks
wuzzzer
For a 5.1 setup your side surrounds are recommended to be wide dispersion type such as the RS series. If you watch mostly movies I'd suggest something from the RS series. If you listen to a lot of multi-channel music something from the RB or B series will work fine. Stolenrs
i agree with wuzzer, i would look into a pair of rs-52's or start with 42's then upgrade later. My previous setup was rf-82 fronts with 82 rears i really liked the way it sounded, but I am mostly a music guy then movies.
