I actually just purchased my first set of klipsch. Haven't even hooked them up yet due to moving across Illinois. Well my question is about my setup and componets. Ok I have a harman kardon avr 430 reciever, klipsch sf-3's for fronts, cerwinvega center channel, kenwood rears, and velodyne dps-12. I'm not worried about my rears and center cause I will be buying matching synergy soon, I wanna know how the sf-3's sound and will my velodyne over power them with bass? wuzzzer Posted May 31, 2010 Share Posted May 31, 2010 Welcome to the forum! The SF-3 was the top of the line Synergy tower when it was out. You will love them and no, your Velodyne will not overpower the SF-3s. A lot of Klipsch speakers will actually overpower many subwoofers due to their extremely high sensitivity.
