Truther
I've got a Marantz 2245 with Cornwall speakers. What is the best method/device used to boost antenna reception to have more stations available for listening?
tube fanatic
What kind of an antenna are you currently using? If it's just a simple folded dipole, you can often improve reception greatly by increasing its height (tacking it up near the ceiling can work wonders). Alternatively, you can use any of the dozens of amplified FM antennas which are out there (Terk has always made excellent products). Lastly, you can use an outdoor antenna with a rotator; but, if roof mounted, you need to install proper lightning protection.
quadklipsh
what i have done , is take a mono filament telephone wire and attached it to the in-wall metal piping going straight to the roof through my room wall, and the other end i have attached to my marantzs 2230s back where it says 300 and 150 ohms or something for the radio signals . and it works excellent !!!! hows ur marantz behaving with your klipsches ????
