InVeNtOr
here's what i did to help my 7's sound just a bit sweeter. it's very simple, anti-vibration foam on the horn. i have 2 different kinds, .25" and .5". i didn't like the sound of the .5, didn't seem as clear as the .25. it was real easy and quick. all it does it roll off the highest highs, taking away that harshness that many people don't like about the 7's in the first place. i tested this with a crossover upgrade and without. in both cases, it sounded good (to me of course). i assume you can use any type of anti-vibration foam, Dynomat comes to mind. the only thing i would suggest is do just 1 speaker and do a good A/B test and see if you like it. the foam i have and dynomat is a real pain to get off if you don't like it. pic of the .25" anti-vibration foam on all 3 of my horns. here is the thread with the cabinet mod Edited July 8, 2016 by InVeNtOr
