Islander
I'm looking into getting a proper phono pre-amp to use instead of my AV receiver's built-in pre-amp, and I came across this unit by Radial Engineering. Radial is a Canadian company with a good reputation for well-built pro sound gear, including guitar effects pedals, so I was interested when I saw this item. The unit is made in Canada and very reasonably priced for a pro unit. It has RCA inputs and RCA, XLR and 3.5mm outputs, so it can be connected to a home audio pre-amp, a professional mixing board, or a computer, so it could be used for digitizing LPs as well as regular listening. It appears to be "road ready" and even has a mil-spec PC board. Has anyone hear heard of it or had any experience with the J33 phono preamp DI?
