brw01162
I have 2 RF-62s running of a Onkyo TX-SR608. I eventually want to get either matching or 52s RC and RS. What sub would be a good match. I don't want to spend a lot on a sub say if a Sub-10 will do the job over a Sub-12.
laager
The main questions are: How big is the room? How low do you want to go (i.e. boom, crash and rumble in HT or just reinforcement for music?) How loud do you want it to be?
Louis Bartay
I use 2 Synergy Sub 12" 300/650watt. New for about $500.00 TYD. Good used one like I did about $250.00 or so the bay site. KSW Klipsch is 12" but 105/300 watt. Use a splitter on the back of the sub to send a signal to both sides of the amp. I just got a "Reference Series, RC-62 center and RS-3II for the rears... they handle 150 W 300 peak. Cornwalls for front L&R. Small room. Almost same Receiver. 5.1 movies are Great. Ironsave
I have the Emotiva Ultra 12. It is on sale right now @$369 shipped. I recommend this sub. It kept up with a set of Cornwall Pros nicely; and it was not even properly placed. It does wonderfully with my Heresies and I am sure you will not be disappointed. (30 day money back guarantee!!!! No risk!)
