Daddy Dee
I'm a delighted customer having used the standard S2 earphones for some time. have a real noobie question about the S2m with mic/pause/mute capability for use with a cell phone. Is there anything about this feature which would be an inconvenience or unworkable using the S2m's for ordinary use with laptop sound? any help appreciated. Jay481985
Other than it will be on the cord and might get caught occasionally, not really. Also I believe it only works on the iphone and stuff.

justin_tx_16
The remote features of all Klipsch headphones work with iPhones, iPod Touches, iPads... you see the trend. They also work with any Apple laptop or desktop purchased in the not too distant past. My 1 year old laptop loves my Klipsch headphone remote control and microphone! That being said, the only limitation to these headphones in this capacity should be the source. If your computer or device cannot use the remote control or microphone, you will have dumb headphones. Great sounding headphones but dumb as in, no remote control, no microphone. The headphones should work as headphones just fine.

Moderators Amy Posted November 16, 2010 Moderators Share Posted November 16, 2010 FYI, the Image S2m is not Apple specific like the "i" products (S4i, X10i, etc). And the remote will not interfere with "normal" headphone listening.
