Moderators dtel Posted December 15, 2010 Moderators Share Posted December 15, 2010 I think it would be fine in a room the size of a bedroom, especially with your sub. You can't expect extreme volume but I would guess it should do just fine. I have some Quintet's but it's either the original or the ll version, they were in a bedroom at one time and they did fine, really better than I had expected. Ironsave
anyone??? What you purpose is almost on par with Promedia 5.1s (Ultras). My system is great in the bedroom for movies; and adequate for music.... (PM 2.1s sounded a bit better IMHO). MY point? You should be fine; but do not expect the world...... Those sats can not do mid low bass..... (must be crossed properly; ~120hz) Good Luck!
jwatson364
if not the quintets whatcha think about RB41 II BLACK, they are reference series bookshelfs....???
Ironsave
Those are a step up in overall soundstage. Honestly; Klipsch does not make a bad speaker. (IMHO). My advice would be if you are going that direction..... Seek used instead of new...... You can find as good or better used for 1/2 price of new. Every item in my siggy was used. I paid 40% of new or better....... (My receiver was ~$900 new; I paid $150; Heresies $250; $1200 new; etc....) Good Luck.
