BLSamuel
Tantulum or Columbite-Tantalite or Coltan sounds like a pretty hot commodity. Wonder if it turns out to be one of the most abundant substances on earth as I think was the case with aluminum orr. And to think that Nutmeg was once so valuable. Of course maybe Coltan is believed to be in limited supply. Is that why a lot of organizations seem interested in recycling cell phones? Maybe it has a limited supply? Interesting and fun video. Just a little yellow capacitor.
Jay481985
bauxite, yep it was known to be abundant but they could not smelt it. I remember that Napoleon aluminum plates that he served only his best of friends, gold was second. I believe coltan is limited and wars and millions of people have been killed or displaced because of it. All so we can make a twitter tweet or facebook friend someone.
