juniper8
I paid 29.00 for a mint pair of VI's w/ stands(couldn't resist) and I use them to listen to the am/fm broadcasts or really bad recordings of citar, early jazz, classical and R&R, when I am in the basement, and around the house. I must say that it is nice to throw 100watts into them, and not worry about them blowing or caring. Only bad thing was my wife almost brained me on the way home from picking them up. Upside down in the back seat, she stopped quick and the rim of the metal stand flew over the seat and hit me right in the head! Ouch! almost the first death by 901's
kg4guy
Mike I must agree with you on your test I have also noticed the sound difference in the two depending on room size.

Syracuse is the closest pair I found. http://syracuse.craigslist.org/ele/2528156437.html Here is a listing in our Garage Sale section for Industrial splits: http://community.klipsch.com/forums/t/151703.aspx edit: Looks like it's the same pair.
