Btrigg
The xover is different from a highpass filter from what I understand, and the xover is at 120 for the sats and sub, but the sats play lower than that, and the sub plays higher. That is just the point where the sub becomes louder than the sats lower than that, and the sats become louder than the sub higher than that. Same with the xover at 5 khz for the tweeter. So the xover is 120 hz sub/sat, 5 khz for midrange/tweeter.
justin_tx_16
your correct, otherwise you could have blank spots where you have no frequency responce. some BOSE speaker systems have this problem. ------------------ -justin SoundWise Support A technical help site created by me and my fellow Klipschers I am an amateur, if it is professional; ProMedia help you want email Amy or call her @ 1-888-554-5665 or for an RA# 800-554-7724 ext 5 Klipsch Home Audio help you want, email support@klipsch.com or call @ 1-800-KLIPSCH RA# Fax Number=317-860-9140 / Parts Department Fax Number=317-860-9150s>
Talon
i had a feeling it wasnt a regular hp x'over. They bypass it and play it full range on the sat's im guessing, but the sat's arent made to play too low so the xover is pretty seemless.
