Can I mix Synergy Bookshelf and Reference center chanel

Is there anything wrong with mixing the synergy and the refence series? I want a good center chanel, and I know that the RC3-II is a lot better than the SC1, but don't want to spend all of the money on the reference bookshelves.

is much better and much more in price. But honestly

you dont wanna mix the too. You wont have a timbre matched setup

In lamens terms the sound wont pan good from left to center

to right.. The synergy all share the same tweeter

and if you mix it with the reference you will have a

mismatched sound.. Synergy is by no way reference but

also it is by no means garbage I have a synergy setup

and it sounds great for the money.
