But see: http://www.finest1.com/klipsch/kg55.html I have no reason to say it is accurate or not accurate. But given the size of the horn, 1600 Hz makes some sense. Now you know what I know. Yes it does make sense given the efficiency of the system and the small diaphragm size and the fact Klipsch wants to get to or close to 20K top end response. I had figured around this looking at the Reference two ways. I was thinking about getting a 5.2 horn to use in a centre channel for a set of Forte ll'. The more I thought about it the more it did not make enough sense. So I got a Forte ll mid horn the K-704 and I have a tweeter here. So now I have to figure out this efficiency or sensitivity business 4 or 8 ohmsseries or parallel for a couple of 8 inch drivers. Anybody here figure this out already?
