moray james
Is there a formal Klipsch info paper explaining the adjusting of the mid and hi horn level? If Heresy's are to be used on speaker stands placed into the room the horns need to be adjusted down in level as they are set up for sitting on risers on the floor where the bass output will be higher. If the tap position is changed then I am told the capacitor needs to be changed as well to maintain the crossover point. Does anybody know of any factory directions to do this? This would seem like a commonthing for people to do. Thanks for any direction regarding this. Best regards Moray James.
Ironsave
Moray, I think I remember Groomslakearea51 mentioning this many moons ago. (Might have been someone else). Sorry; wish I had more info for ya.......
Fjd
It is not a formal Klipsch paper, but I initially found this thread in the updates and modifications forum related to Heresy that shows both modifications where you can lower the output without replacing capacitors and a method to lower the output with replacing capacitors here http://community.klipsch.com/forums/t/21971.aspx .
