jouyang
i am planning to buy a sub and i have read lots of good things about pw-2200 but my friend want to sell me his velodyne f series which is about the same price as the pw-2200. do you guys know which one is better? jason
TheEAR
Velodyne F series are good subs, nothing too incredible.Ok output and clean sub bass.If you can get the F Velodyne at a LOW LOW price(how much) then its ok. Paradigm 2200 is a proven sub with BIG output and of quality. Can be found around $500 if you shop around, the lat time I had one at home I paid under $700 Canadian for it. For HT I would take the Paradigm,no contest. For music both do an ok job. TheEAR(s) Now theears
Seb
i don't know whether it'S actually possible to find a PW-2200 for $500U.S. I paid 670CAN for mine and it was a pretty damn good deal. Nevertheless, even at 600US it'S a damn fine subwoofer. ------------------ http://members.fortunecity.com/sebdavid - go laugh at my crappy website/equipment http://www.dvdprofiler.com/mc.asp?alias=Sebdavid - go laugh at my puny little DVD collection
dougdrake
Jason - Depends on which F series Velo he is referring to. I think you won't go wrong with the Paradigm, but the older F series (F1500/1500R) has some serious whump to it. jouyang
it's the FSX-12 and it's made in 1996. I'll probably get the pw2200.
