joessportster
Hey all I just bought the rolling stones 180 gram vinyl box set's. And the couple lp's I've listened to so far are very good. Dead quiet background nice soundstaging. Best stones recordings I've heard to date. Better even than MFSL Joe
mustang guy
I love the Stones. Thanks for bringing to my attention. I looked this up, and there are actually two sets. One is 1964-1969, and the other is 1971-2005. I wonder where 1970 went... In any event, I will be looking into buying the newer one for sure. The only Stones vinyl I own is Tatoo You. I have many of the CD's, but I don't do CD's any more.
joessportster
I bought both. They have been out for awhile now and are getting harder to find. Price seems a little high till you break it down per lp. Joe

costerdock
I have the early years box set - love it - you can get it for 100.00 less if you use amazon canada (100.00 less than US Amazon) - I paid 200.00 vs. 300.00 - great deal and arrived in a couple of days via DHL. joessportster
It took me awhile to spring for mine but I finally found a decent deal at a local record shop both sets for 550.00 plus I had a 5% preferred customer discount. I looked at amazon and the Canada price was no better especially with the dollar like it is. I beleive my local store has 1 set left. costerdock
Yep - price is now up to 369 - darn - they must have caught on - sorry about that. Here is the price I paid a few months back: Order Total: CDN$ 189.97 - the US version at that time was just over 300.00 Great set though - sound amazing. Thanks, Chris
