Gregorius Posted May 1, 2002 Share Posted May 1, 2002 Greetings Gentlemen, I have an oppurtunity to purchase a Cary SLP-30 Preamp and a SLA-30 Amp for $1,100. they are a older discontinued dealer demo with low hours. Since they are discontinued it's hard to find out any info on them. Has anyone had any experience with these? Is $1100 too high? jazman Posted May 1, 2002 Share Posted May 1, 2002 Gregorius, I've never owned either, but an SLP 30 pre goes around $400 to $450 on the used market depending on which upgrades, if any, are in place. Here's an old listing for a SLP30 pre. SLP 30 for sale Their products can be pricey even when used. I know nothing about the SLA-30. Hopefully it's a start. Klipsch out.
