Looks like you are using an ohm meter and therefore measuring resistance or DCR. The 3.7 number is closer to what I have seen for DCR. To measure impedeance, you need something that can generate a signal within the operating frequency range. Tipically the higher you go in frequency the higher the impedeance value will be. I've see cheap impedeance meters that use a 100hz signal to measure impedeance. So basically, what I am saying is you really can't compare DCR or resistance to impedeance numbers. The 5.X DCR reading is spooky. May either be a cold solder (very common), a physical connection issue, or in some cases, I've seen non eminance coils used during re-coning.
