I have been told that magnetism doesn't affect these TVs, but I plan to set it atop a "lowboyed" Cornwall II as center channel, so I hope to hello that this works. Shouldn't. They are not electron canons like CRTs. Reminds me... The first TV I ever bought was a $500 13" color CRT in 1980 or so. After a few months of use, I made aservice call because they colors were way off. The technician came to the house (remember house calls?), demagnetised it and it was fine. Then he asked what was the big black box it was sitting on. Oh, that's a Klipsch La Scala! He pulled it out, checked out the magnet for the mid-driver, and told me to either shield the magnet or move the TV! Boy was I embarassed!
