Scott 299-c

That was my first thought but not sure want work done is worth..

Here is a nice Scott 299-C integrated amp. The 299-C is one of the best Scotts
ever made. This one has been serviced with a new P.S. can on top and 'lytics
underneath. Signal and bypass caps replaced as well as the troublesome selenium
rectifier with a silicon bridge. Controls and sockets cleaned with Deoxit.

Tubes are all vintage: RCA/Westinghouse 7591's, RCA 12ax7's, Phillips
6u8A's, and a Mullard 5ar4 rectifier
The amp sounds wonderful. Huge low end,
smooth mids and highs and that classic Scott imaging and sound
signature.
Looks aren't perfect, but still presents pretty well for an amp
this age. See pics.

I'm with bkrop. Especially if Craig (Nosvalves) did the work cause he's got magic in his fingers when it comes to these units.

Price is more than fair if Craig touched it. It's about what I sold my 299A for fours ago and it was a Nosvalves rebuild. Selling it was one of my many regrets in life. Most of the other regrets involved midget porn.
