ldl01031
I currently have all Klipsch (L/R/C/W/H) (except for two subs which are doing fine). Except that my surrounds and back surrounds are 15-20 year old floorstanding JBL P50s. I'm now contemplating my next move (sometime in the reasonably near future). For the back wall I could easily go with WDST speakers. For the sides, I 'could' go with WDST but it would be a bit more problematic (mounting and distance). What I'm thinking is getting 4 RF-42 IIs to replace the 4 JBLs. But I also know about the benefits of WDST speakers in surround positions. Thoughts? Fotog
Many feel that surrounds and rears are less important to "match" than the front mains and center. I like my present set up very much. You can see from my signature that my surrounds are a non-Klipsch brand. However, I think speakers that are matched, have a much better chance of delivering a satisfactory sound for most people. Gorm
I have RC-7s all the way around. The sound is larger, and more detailed than the RS-7. However, I the sound does sound SLIGHTLY more direct. However, this isn't an issue from the main listening position.
