Anyway, you asked about SVS vs Klipsch. It all depends really. Personally, I would say SVS. You simply cannot beat SVS's price/performance ratio. SVS subwoofers such as the SVS CS-Ultra shake you from the inside-out. Smile.gif

However, the Klipsch RSW line is also quite good. cwm1.gif

It seems likely that with the appropriate converter from the line level mini-jack on the PC card to RCA jacks, you should be able to connect a powered sub's amp, or any amplifier for that matter.

The key is that the powered sub is NOT going to then power the satellite speakers, like a ProMedia setup does. You would need to provide separate amplification for the satellites.

A standard audio receiver would be able to do that.

BTW, don't you think a SVS subwoofer is going to be overkill for ProMedias?
