Ranguvar
For a while now, I've been hunting a good used ProMedia 2.1. Deal just popped up, local, for a ProMedia v.2-400 system, $50. This is about half of what I'd end up getting a used ProMedia 2.1 for, since there's no shipping either. I have no use for the extra two speakers -- they'd be used as potential replacements should one die -- so my question is, would this setup work in 2.1 configuration? Would it sound much like the ProMedia 2.1? http://www.klipsch.com/promedia-v-2-400-computer-speaker-system
Mister_Clean
in my opinion, it will be better than the 2.1, the sub for the v.2-400 has 2 drivers in it, the 2.1 sub only has one driver in it. and at that price, I wouldn't pass it up, you can sell it on ebay for $100 and up no problem. Ranguvar
I heard a couple rumors that the ProMedia 2.1 has a different amp / better midrange. So the v.2-400 would actually be better? Interesting.
