I have a Denon 991, Klipsch RF 3, RC 52ii and a smal power sub Polk PSW-111 as a right now i don't have a surround speaker I want to get the paradigm ADP390 but are some what expensive for me right now, and i saw on the local craigslist a pair of Klipsch KG4 some what inexpensive I was wondering if they could do a good job as a surround ? Max2 Posted May 7, 2012 Share Posted May 7, 2012 I used them as surrounds for several years. The 4 is one of the cheapest pairs of floorstanding Klipsch you can buy. They have a very good sound for the money spent and surprisingly decent bass. They are not as sensitive (around 92db I think) and they are 4 ohm speaks I believe, so trimming the center and fronts might take a little more than usual.
