cyto
I know this questions has been asked a million times but I must make it 1,000,001 [:$] I just acquired Heresy II Signature Editions and was thinking of upgrading with the Klipsch Heresy III kit after I listen to them for at least 6 months. Two questions to those that have done the upgrade: 1) Is it worth the $290 + shipping per kit? Judging by what they sound like now it would take a significant improvement to justify the coins. 2) Are the old parts sellable? If I can make part if the cost back selling the old parts it would help the justification. Thanks David
Marvel
Yes and yes...but I would advise finding someone with HIIIs and give a listen. Another option, if you do the upgrade, is to build cabs the size of Tangent 400s. These use the exact same parts as HIIs, and will give much better bass performance. You can look up the specs for the Tangents to see what I mean. Given all that, I would be inclined to keep the signature models intact.
