ecruz
I recently purchased a pair of Forte II's. Pretty good shape, but one of the top corners sustained a little damage during shipping. It's not split open or chuncked off, just kind of smashed. What's the best way to repair it and make it somewhat of a corner again? Thanks
jhoak
It would help a lot if you would take and post a few pictures of the damage from a couple of angles. As a rule you can fill in crushed corners with wood filler or bondo. Of course that does nothing for the veneer or finish. Show us what you have to repair and I'm certain that a few will come forward with suggestions on how to effect repairs.
ecruz
I'll post a couple of pics later. It's not terrible and doesn't affect the sound, but everything else is in good shape, so it's kind of annoying. E-
Panacea Engineering
Depending on how bad it is, you may be able to use steam (steam iron) and a hard rubber mallet, to get it back into shape. I have done some pretty amazing things with this method..........
