REDdawn6
hey guys. I wish I had the funds for a big H.T. System but ATM I dont. I Really like my HT set up I have. Yamaha RX-V667 , C2 center ,S1 surrounds , Jamo 606 HSC mains , Couple subs. I think I have a good ear and I know my reciever isnt really for music. In a HT situation, will I notice a difference if I bi-wire my Jamo mains? any input appreciated. RD6
joshjp
Most likely not, but if you have extra speakerwire it doesnt hurt to try. What do you have your Parametric EQ at?, when i had that Receiver i had it at Through, and that sounded best for me.

derrickdj1
Are you considering bi-wiring or bi-amping. If you want to use additional speaker terminals on your avr such as, the front height or surround back, to have more overhead, that is bi-amping. Bi-wiring is just using a wire from the Hi and Lo binding post on the speaker that terminate to matching front R or L post on the back of the avr. Bi-wiring only helps if the speaker wire is to small of a gauge.
