Hi, Greg,

Thanks for posting this. I went last year and heard some very interesting stuff, both pro and con. Unfortunately, I'm out of town and heve to miss it this time around.

I got to hear MBL electronics and speakers, which I thought were uniformly awful. I wasn't taken with the McIntosh they had, either. Lots of DIY stuff, too.

They had a Polk display, which I thought sounded excellent to outstanding -- My computer speakers are Polk, and I really like them. I'd recommend Polks to anyone who can't meet their wants with Klipsch.

The Polks were the second best sound there IMO. The best IMO was all-DIY, OTLs driving a horn-based system, which not so coincidentally is similar to my system.

Of course, Greg's speakers had a lot of Klipsch strengths -- very big soundfield and strong, effortless bass. The dramatic veneer finish was easily as good or better than anyone elses'.

I thought the show was well worth the trek.

Larry
