EMRR
Hi folks, I'm in the learning curve on La Scala's these days, having acquired a mismatched pair of LSI types recently. One that appears 1981-82ish with a Type AA crossover has what appears to be a solder lug K-55-V driver, but the sticker on it is K-43-E, stamped serial # 9030. The woofer in it is K-43-E #9031. Would anyone have any thoughts here? I'm assuming it's a simple case of factory mislabel, thinking of a Friday at 5:30 scenario.
Panacea Engineering
What is stamped on the Tweeter? It may have been a way that the factory matched sets of drivers with "special" serial numbers.
Guest " "
so you have a pair of lascalas withh 3 k-43's in them.....if you believe the stickers
EMRR
The tweeter is K-77-M / 14 824-0137 square gold magnet, round silver label #105. Yeah, two K-43-E with consecutive serial #s in one La Scala cabinet, if you really want to believe! Hard for me to think anything other than factory accident, but I've not been a Klipsch student for long.
