kg4guy
Well I painted the cabinets black and I'm kind of liking the white grills on the black cabinets.
colterphoto1
Bill Hendrix has a guy who will custom bend grilles. Or you could find one locally. I was told that the KP262 was 'voiced' for the spoken word, they were commonly used in houses or worship for installations. No handles or cup (pole) mounts - they were nearly always hung using the supplied mounting points. Yours, as mine , came with the heavy duty ATA hardware. I'm keeping my hardware in case they ever sell to someone who would want to hang them array-style. We lined up the 262 with KSM12, HIP, and KP250 once the 262 was clearer in the vocal range if not the widest frequency response performer. It's a 250 woofer with the K604 (forteII and many pro cabinets) horn, no tweeter.
kg4guy
Yes I have used him in the past however not anymore there are better more consistent deals . I'm happy with the sound on these I do like them better than the KP 250's I had.
colterphoto1
If you want to mount pole mount cups to them, place the cabinet on a flat surface and balance it on a dowel rod in each of front/back, side/side orientations. Mark that spot and it's your center of gravity for the pole mount!
kg4guy
Well they are all four done I'm keeping the white grills on so they look a little classier for higher end gigs . I put all flat head screws in the mounting holes found the same allen screw type local 24 for $12.30 .
