InVeNtOr
can you pull them back and re run them? buy new wire? what kind are you using? i prefer mil-spec 12 awg copper/tin plated with teflon. it's sure cheap, twisted, and will last longer than you. side note, i usually get it for free....i work on Airplanes and from time to time can grab extra wire. border411
Lucky you with the wire! I use Monoprice 14gauge. Some of the best I have found, and it is CL2 rated for inwall use. I have enough slack where I can move the speaker around probably 2 feet front to back to get a descent sound.
InVeNtOr
no, i agree. i use monoprice 12 awg for my mains. i even replaced the internal wire in my speakers with it. i do take it out of the jacket though.
border411
So the guys at the speaker store stated that with the Wide Dispersion Technology I should have any issue installign RS42's in the upper rear corners (pulled forward a little) on the side walls. Anyone whole-heartedly disagree with that? Would I gain anything turning them 90* so they fire up to the ceiling and down to the floor?
