Thrusti
Wow! Some guy is selling a single 1957 Hartsfield. What a fine looking speaker... wouldn't that make the ultimate mono system in a corner! In the description of the speaker they even use the quote "of all of the Klipsch derived family, one speaker, in my estimation, is noticeably superior - the Lansing Hartsfield." Just shows what groundbreaking work PWK did for the audio industry. dougdrake
Saw a pair of these in person, at a local audio sales guy's house when he was selling some KHorns that I went to look at. They look very cool. This guy's place was like a museum! Also had a Tannoy (I believe, with the tweeter mounted in the center of the woofer?). ------------------ My System
Chris Robinson
Dang, that IS beautiful. So the big question is ... "What is it really worth?" $7 Large sounds like a big chunk. Not sure I want to pull my Belle which I paid $650 for ... but from an investment standpoint (ROI), is this a good deal? ------------------ "Bullsh*t!" -PWK- --------------------- TWO-CHANNEL SYSTEM Eico HF-81 Eico HFT-90 AES AE-25 "Superamp" (in temporary retirement) AES AE-3 Pre-amp (in temporary retirement) New Tube 4000 CD Player 1976 Klipschorns (KCBR's & ALK'ed) HOME THEATER Klipsch 1968 ALK Cornwall "II"s (LF/RF) ALK Belle Klipsch (Center) Klipsch Heresy (RR/LR) Klipsch KSW-12 sub Sonic Frontiers Anthem AMP1 (driving Cornwalls) Sonic Frontiers Anthem AMP1 (driving Heresy's) Denon AVR-4800 Toshiba SD-3109 DVD
