Moderators Youthman Posted March 6, 2013 Author Moderators Share Posted March 6, 2013 I too find it to be fun but don’t have the skills yet that you have or the equipment. I didn't either until I just started learning by shooting and researching online about photography. I don't even consider myself a "Photographer", more of a hobbyist at best. My first DSLR was a Nikon D70. Paid $400 for it with a lens. Then sold it a year later and bought the D90 with a lens for $750. It's been a super camera for what I use it for. You can get older cameras cheap. My friend is a Canon guy and used to shoot weddings with a 20D & 40D. Since both are several years old, you can find them for around $250 - $450? Photography is like most electronics, they drop like a rock in value in a very short period of time. So you can get a very affordable setup for super cheap if you buy a few year old gear.
