Rivernuggets
Link Not in the greatest shape, but priced ok if someone is local to Fort Worth TX. Those copper cones get dented and crinkled too often! People gotta take care of their investments!
Mongo171
Sounds like he either glued or nailed the grills to the speakers. Can't take them off.
Fizzlemizzle
I've been looking for a pair of RB-5s, and I LOVE Klipsch in mahogany, but that price is just too high for me considering the condition. I love the look of the original reference drivers but Klipsch made some poor decisions with them. I'm not sure if it was for cost savings, or just an oversight because they're fine for shipping via pallet - but between the heavy magnets and the plastic frames they very often get damaged during shipping. I'm not exactly sure why the cones are so susceptable to damage, but that is also VERY common to see. In my opinion, original reference speakers are always worth more locally. Both my RF-5s and RC-3s have been damaged during shipping, but my RS-3s held up.
