ColaBear
I have been tinkering with this for a while now. I also posted a similar query in the 2-channel forum. I have a pair of KLF30s that are currently 8 feet apart, aimed straight out and are @ 13 feet from my listening area. Is there an advantage to toeing them in? I have noticed that when are car drives across the sound stage that is seems to start just outside of the speakers and moves fairly seamlessly across the sound stage to the other side and past. I was curious if others have experimented with this type of thing. ------------------ ************************* KLF-30 mains KLF-C7 center KLF-30 surrounds KSP-S6 rear center KSW200 subwoofer Denon AVR5800 Pioneer Elite DV-09 Pioneer Elite PD-F19 RCA DTC1000 Sony Playstation 2 Denon MD1000 Vidikron Epoch D-600 Vutec 100" 4:3 1.5 gain
Mystery Guest
I don't know alot about it colabear, but from what I have experienced it seems to be just a matter of what you like. Steve was all for having the speakers aimed to the "sweet spot" until he heard some that were made for corners aimed straight ahead. It opened the sound up into the room. I think the size of the room would make a difference. ------------------ The token female for the Klipsch Fan Club Tour 2001
