egionet2 Posted May 15, 2013 Share Posted May 15, 2013 Klipsch Forte speakers (not IIs) in excellent working order and very good cosmetic condition. 1988 date code. No chips or rough edges. I did notice when taking these out of my system that my 3 year old pushed in the dust cap on the passive woofer of one of the speakers (back side). It does not effect sound as far as I can tell and shouldn't because it is simply a passive woofer...this is mainly a cosmetic issue.$700 OBOCrites Upgrades include: new crossovers and titanium tweeter diaphragms. Installed a little over 1 year ago. Total cost of the upgrades nearly $300.These are great sounding speakers, especially with tube gear. I am selling to fund new speakers and gear I have recently acquired. Sorry, I am new to the forum and was not able to upload pictures.
