sgarrott
I recently sent my Onkyo 797 back to the authorized internet dealer due to the "infamous" ticking sound that seems to occur in this model. Fortunately for me they took it back (it was outside the 30 return period) and will allow me to trade it on any other model they carry I can trade up to the Onkyo 898 (which some say also is experiencing the same problem) or get the HK 520 for slightly less. I know most on the forum like the Denon but this is not an option due to this situation. I have Cornwall's, Reference Series center and rears, and have just ordered an SVS PCi 25-31. Does anyone use the HK 520 and what are your thoughts about this receiver (I can't afford the 8000!) Thanks--you on the forum have provide great advice in the past and I value your input--

Not that I have a killer setup or anything but it definatly sounds way better than the previous sony reciever i had which was a 2002 model $500 unit. ------------------ Thanks, Daryl Gregg MY Home Theatre Page HK AVR-510 Reciever Sony DVP-NS400D DVD SB-3 Mains SC-1 Center Quintet Rears KSW-12 Sub AR Proseries Interconects R.I.P.
