Deang
After getting a dozen calls or more about this I called and asked Al why he didn't offer a nicer version of the CornScala-Wall Universal. He said he felt the network was built and priced right where it should be and he just didn't see a need for anything "better". I asked if he cared if I built something for those that wanted to take it to the next level, and after a good twenty minute rant, he green-lighted it. The original design is still built and sold by Al. This new version is identical in every way to the ALK Universal (parts and features) with the exception that it does NOT come with tweeter attenuators as part of the network. It is my opinion that the transformer based units Al sells are superior than the L-pad unit that comes on the economy version, and is the preferred solution for tweeter attenuation with this network. So, if you want the nicer network, you'll need to purchase the attenuators separately.
