I have a Peavy 2 15 cabinet, I don't know if the speakers are 4, 8, or 16 ohm. But I have a Altec 511b horn, could I put this on top of the cabinet and use this setup for a pa main. If so what driver would you recommend for the Altec horn. How should I cross it over, via active or passive. I assume power would depend what driver I put on it. I wouldn't need it to be high quality. As I would be just maybe micing out my drums or bass or guitar through this pa. Do I even need to build a pa, no but I figure if I have the horn, and cab laying around I could use it for this method.
