beeker Posted November 9, 2013 Share Posted November 9, 2013 I seen you had a replacement and wondered what brand it was. Interesting, I always wondered how the mavins were. I have always used crites for replacements and in some ocassions end up keeping crites in the cabinet after i have a woofer reconed. I have got by for rather long periods of time, at times with matching speaker pairs that have mix matched drivers. This is not optimum. Matching drivers in your fortes being 3way it is best to have the same driver from tweeter, mid and woofer in both speaker cabinets. Another mavin would be best in your case then use the oem as a spare. For $65 another mavin would be best.
