ryanm84
I have no sub and no room in my current set-up. I do have corns, kg4, and an academy center so I could do 3.0 or 5.0. Simple question on avr set up - keep the front speakers set to large as I have no sub? I think the corns have plenty of low end to hold me over for a bit until I get some more space and/or the sub bug.
wuzzzer
Correct. I believe many AVRs force you to run the front mains as large if you aren't running a subwoofer. Cross the Academy and KG4s at 80Hz or so.
ryanm84
Thanks. I thought that to be the case. Will have to go thru the setup as the avr currently is set for 2 channel listening only - no extra speaks.
derrickdj1
Depending on the avr, it may have variable xo the will allow you to set the KG 4 a little lower.
