rbrown0678
After a few weeks without cornwalls , damaged by grand son ordered new woffers which came today, unespectdly, i had already done all that i could, check tweets and mids tighten screws on tweets, mids were a bit loose thighten those,i initally felt sadden when i first felt the weight of the new woffer the magnet looked puny and anemic, and after the outlay on these speakers did i make the right call. I'm glad they are not suppose to be baise on looks. Thanks to all who through their experience has aided in how these speakers are to sound just by taking care of the small details. mustang guy
Glad everything worked out. Are you planning on throwing the old woofers out? They can be re-coned if Bob Crites still has the kits available. https://community.klipsch.com/index.php?/topic/140231-how-to-recone-a-k-33-woofer/ Edited March 5, 2014 by mustang guy
rbrown0678
thanks for the link , I did'nt know bob sold recone kits , thought he only sold his replacement type. seems too finiky for me. unfortunately seems to end up with spare parts, leading to many thoughts of projects to take on. Trying to restrain myself from the uncompleted projects.Thinking of projects i need to get some velcro to secure grillcloth and prevent damage from reaccuring.
