bigdog
a denon avr3802 receiver should be powerful enough to power a rf7 speakers series with a rsw-15 subwoofer?
IndyKlipschFan
More than enough. I own this amp, and can first hand say it is clean and powerful enough to do what you want. It seems to be a favorite in this Klipsch BB with a lot of other owners feeling the same way. Enjoy!
cluless
Denon 3802 and R7s all around, It rocks. Still working the sub issue though.
NOZ
That would be a great set up. You still have room to go with the receiver though. The 5803 would be my choice, but would cost a bunch more. ------------------ NOZ SYSTEM Fronts: Klipsch RF-7's Center: Klipsch RC-7 Rears: Klipsch RS-7's Projector: Infocus LP350 Screen: Draper Premier 96" x 72" TV: Toshiba 37" DVD: Toshiba SD 3107 Receiver: Harman Kardon AVR 7000 CD: Sony CDP CX250 EQ: Harmon Kardon EQ-8 Sub: Velodyne V-1012-B Spare/Back-Up: La Scalas
pierceb
bigdog, I've got that exact setup, minus the sub. Although I consider the 3802 'temporary', it does a pretty stellar job for the price. I might consider something with some more power though (a 4803 or 5803??) too get better bass response. Personally, I'm going to go with separates. I would also go with an SVS CS-Ultra (or two) with a Sampson amp instead of the RSW-15, but that's just my opinion. I've never heard either, but I have seen lots of people on this board upgrade from the RSW-15 (or are wishing to upgrade). There are a lot of satisfied SVS owners on this board. I think my 3802 is becoming more permanent as the days go by, as I now have a "little one" on the way. I'm just about ready to order an SVS Ultra, but our Canadian buck has gone for a sh*t! -PB
